A little bad quality, but this was very big in Denmark in 2001. These girls, Trine, Sofie, Julie and Louise, won Popstars in Denmark. But after their second cd they were gone. But big they were. The outfits in the video was very popular - DENIM :)

King and Queen

I went to Copenhagen with my mother because we wanted to go the exhibition with The Queen of Denmarks dresses. It was very nice and I was surprised to see that she had dresses from Balmain :) 

We spent most of our time in The Kings Garten and the weather definitely agreed with us :) I got my first ice  cream on a sunny day...

We had extra time so we went to see The Rosenborg Castle, which is right by The Kings Garten. We had an hour before the closed, so we hurried :) 

Just looking at the pictures makes me think of sunshine and happiness :)

Never had it so good

Last week I was in Berlin, our studytour. It was very nice and the sun was shining :) About 30 degrees, so good!
I bought the book, Whuthering Heights by Emily Brönte, which I am looking forward to reading, it should be one of greatest love stories:)

Dr. Hauschka have saved my life. This mascara is without perfume or and is based on naturally ingrediens. Before I would get a rash in the edge of my eye when I wore mascara, so I am very excited about this one :)
I also bought the mascara in Berlin, from recommendations from my friend!

In Berlin we went to the Friedrich Palace and watch the SHOW, Yma. Which was an amazing show, a lot of dancers, athletes, singers. A show in capital letters. The show runs another year or so, so if you are in Berlin you should definitely see this show, it is worth it! :)

Bringing back sunshine

Hello again, I have been so busy this month with application for design schools in Denmark. I applied for TEKO and Kolding Design School. Which I will snapshots of later :)

Last week we designed shirts by imagine a person, my person is a student, interested in 50's art. Her style is 50's goes modern inspiret.
I ended up with loose shirts, to get the volume and then you add a piece, like a belt, to get the waist in focus. I will show the moodboard later :)

Thursday evening Peter Jensen had a lecture at Skals Højskole. It was very interesting, and I bought his book about his muses/inspiration for his collections, which he signed for me :) The cooles book ever!!

Last but definitely not least, I finished my leather bag. I needed to find a zipper, which turned out to be very difficult. I am so happy with the result, and monday morning it is going with me to Berlin. Yes, that is right, my study-tour is to Berlin. It is fantastic and the weather is about 25 - 30 degrees celcius :)

Manipulation

I spent this weekend during manipulation with textiles. It was so much fun and game. I liked transfor print the best. I painted some paper with Bafixan painting, and then put it onto the texiles and into the transfor heater. 20 seconds later - and you have a printed fabric. I would like to print onto some fabrics (it has to be polyester, or else it won't work with this kind of colour) and sow my own dress :)

Leather me good

My precious leatherbag :) I am almost finished, I just need to sew a zipper in! Last weekend there was a course with "leather" and I have for a long time wanted to sew this retro 70'ies shopper. It was very interesting to make, all the things you have to do before you can sew!

It is sewn by hand and is now my favourite bag :D

I am in prison - I want these pants so bad :)

I saw these pants at 5inchandup-blog, and fell in love! I want them so much. They are from H&M and are fabulous :) The yellow is a really nice and fresh contrast to the pants, which is very grafical!!
